జోగ్ జలపాతం అందాలు

జోగ్ జలపాతం భారతదేశంలోని ఎత్తైన జలపాతం. ఈ జలపాతం షిమోగా జిల్లా సాగర్ తాలూకాలో ఉంది. ఈ  జోగ్ జలపాతం అందాలు పర్యాటకులను కనువిందు చేస్తాయి. ఈ జలపాతం 830 అడుగుల ఎత్తునుండి పడే నీటి ధారలు పర్యాటకులను ఆకర్షిస్తుంది. ఈ జలపాతం శరావతి నది నుండి నాలుగు పాయలుగా చీలి కిందకు  దూకుతుంది.

ఇంత ఎత్తయిన జలపాతాన్ని చూడటానికి కి వీలుగా కర్ణాటక పర్యాటక శాఖవారు ఒక వ్యూ పాయింట్ (What Kins Platform) ను ఏర్పాటు చేశారు.

HOW TO REACH JOG FALLS

By Air

The airport in Mangalore is the nearest to Jog Falls. Located about 243 km from Jog Falls, the airport is well connected by flights to Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata. From the airport, one can get taxi services for Jog Falls.

By Train

Shimoga is the nearest railway station. It is located about 101 km from Jog Falls. Trains from Bengaluru, Mysore, Chennai, Vasco do halt at the station. From the station, one can hire a taxi for Jog Falls.

By Road

Jog Falls can easily reached by road. State-run buses do ply regularly from Mangalore, Bengaluru, Shimoga to Jog Falls.
